Wencon UW Coating is a two-component product, to be applied under water or on a wet surface and curing at room temperature. After curing, Wencon UW Coating will provide a smooth, nonporous coating, which is resistant to bi-metallic corrosion, light chemical attack, corrosion and impingement.
Wencon UW coating has been developed for use in the marine industry and Off Shore, where it is not possible to apply on a dry surface. Typical applications are coatings of steel surfaces rebuilt with Wencon UW Cream, and coatings under water - like ships hulls and/or other submerged structures, tanks, pipes and other under water items to be protected against corrosion or bi-metallic corrosion.
