Wencon 1088 Coating is a two-component solvent free epoxy coating curing at room temperature. It provides a smooth non porous surface, which is resistant to high temperatures, chemical aggression, corrosion and erosion as well as impingement.
Wencon 1088 Coating offers excellent corrosion protection in immersed temperatures in excess of 160°C (365° F). Peak temperature resistance is as high as 300°C (572° F).
Wencon 1088 Coating has been developed primarily for offshore oil and gas industry but can also be used in industries such as petrochemical, pulp and paper, metal processing, power generation and sugar. Typical applications are repairs or preproduction protection of steel and concrete storage tanks, separators, evaporators, scrubbers, absorbers, heat exchangers, turbines, pipelines and pumps.
